Etude House’s Pomegranate Mask Review

image

“This mask sheet contains pomegranate extract (Punica Granatum fruit Extract) full of Estrogen and various minerals, providing smoothing and firming care to dull and lifeless skin.”

Directions:

  1. Apply toner to skin after cleansing
  2. Remove mask from pouch and apply to face, placing mask to fit eye and lip area
  3. Remove mask after 15 – 20 minutes and lightly massage remaining solution into skin with hands.

My thoughts?
If you have read my blog, you will know I am a big fan of Etude House.  I love their packaging and how cute and pretty their products always look.  When opening the packet, it wasn’t as drenched with goodness compared to other masks.  After removing the mask, my face is VERY MOIST.  But…not soft. It’s like…kinda sticky…..which yes, I know will go away when I go to sleep and wake up the next morning.  Ew…i don’t like the feeling.  Hoping the other masks will not be the same as the pomegranate one!  Woke up with no more sticky face, but hydrated and soft skin.   For me – not worth sleeping with sticky skin when there are other masks that don’t have this effect!

As cute as the packaging and eye patches are….  I used this product several times and honestly do not see or feel a difference 😦  Besides the fact that my eyes feel rested and refreshed….that’s it!

I would like to think my eye circles as black as most people  – so maybe that could be a factor too! LOL.

But there you have it folks! 😛

Tony Moly: Floria Nutra – Energy Mask Sheet With Argan Oil Review

image_2

Tony Moly’s  Floria Nutra – Energy Mask Sheet With Argan Oil

I was trying to find some “official” description and method of using, but…I couldn’t find this on the web.  Strange!

Also, just to note, I have been getting tons of this mask as a sample gift for purchasing stuff at Tony Moly, so no idea how much it costs.

The mask is pretty good.  The sheet fit around my face perfectly, and I left it on for 20 minutes.  Usually, I do put it longer but decided to take it off a bit earlier as I was dead tired and ready for bed.  The mask was soaked in tons of serum and goodies and was totally dripping down my neck.  After removal, there was still a thin layer of goo.  My face also seemed “lighter” in color and “firmer”, which lasted for about the next morning and thats it.  Went to sleep and woke up with nice soft skin.

Not sure if I would purposely purchase this mask, as I still think My Diary Masks seem to do more justice for me.

So I really liked this mask because the shape actually fully fits my face.  The ones I have used either don’t go around the chin/neck and ear or else feels way too tight (and even rips sometimes!).  I noticed that my face started to tingle and get all sensitive after 10 minutes.  Maybe allergic reaction?

Usually when I use this mask and take it off, I go to sleep right away and can see a difference if the mask is any good when I wake up.  I don’t think my face got softer or brighter …or anything!!  Just a reminder, I have gone through my fair share of different masks.  So…yes – I can tell if its a yes or no -__-“”

Summary?  Nay for me.  Great shape and fit for around the face – but not beneficial for my skin.  Not sure where the “best seller” sticker came from lol.

Nature Republic ‘s Lemon Foot & Nature Peeling Foot Mask Review…YAY!

photo 1 photo 2

Warning – just before further scrolling after you read this paragraph, I am warning of nasty foot peeling pictures.  So please do not look if you are about to eat or just ate.  LOL.

I will write everything now of this amazing product so if you don’t want to see the process – you will be safe!

First heard of these korean foot products from one of my friends and I happened to walk by this korean store in Hawaii.  Nature’s Republic is a korean beauty chain brand and can be found across the states, korea and in Asia.  Sasa also carries some of their products…not so sure if they have this particular food mask – but have a search on Amazon as I have seen it on there as well.

So after you soak your feet for 60 – 90 minutes, you just wash it with lukewarm water and dry.  After a few days, you will notice your foot begins to peel.  If you are like my mom – you will use a nail filer or foot buffer and just start scrapping it off.  If you are like me…you will… probably  just peel it when ever you get a chance (in your personal private space I hope. LOL).

By the end of the week…your feet will be smooth.  No chalky and rough feet!

So yes…now you can enjoy my yucky pics.  DON’T JUDGE! LOL.

SATYA Organic Skincare Review – great for eczema, diaper rashes, insect bites, chapped lips, dry skin, and sunburns!

So i went to a craftsfair by BLIM and saw this interesting booth with just bottles of something called SATYA.

“Satya Organic Skin Care is a 100% USDA certified organic calendula balm. It’s a multi-purpose skin healer, ideal for eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and burns. Created using only four, top quality ingredients and handcrafted, Satya has no added fragrance, chemicals or preservatives.”

The lady put some on the back of my hand… and I was in love.

The texture is kinda like petroleum jelly, but not as oily.  My hands are super dry..my feet too.

Look at the after!  When I smoothed it into my skin, it ‘s so much softer and less cracked looking!  I put this on usually every night when I’m about to go sleep and my hands are definitely a lot softer.  I was reading some of their reviews and I’m super excited because I read a user put it on her daughters “chicken skin”…you know those small red bumps that are sometimes on the back of your arms?  I HAVE THAT.  And skin doctors have said its not curable.  Here is what the user said about it

This is amazing stuff! It cleared up the “chicken skin” that my daughter had on the back of her arms. Our doctor said there was nothing that would help and that she may outgrow it. Within a week of using the Satya, it was gone and has not come back. Thank you!” – Wendy B

Super excited – going to try it now on back of arms. 😀  Been dying to get rid of those since i was a child.

So what’s in it?

  • Organic Calendula Petals
  • Organic Cold Pressed Sweet Almond Oils
  • Organic BeesWax
  • Organic Cold Pressed Jojoba Oils

ALL ORGANIC AND NATURAL! WOO HOO!

I also have little areas of eczema and have been using it to ease the itchyness – works like a charm!  The lady also suggested to use it on my lips and I love it!  Make my lips very soft and moist – without the oily feeling.

I ‘M SUPER PROUD ALSO that this is local! 😉  But available hopefully to everyone in the world….
